The Anti-Ragging Cell of Bharath College of Education is a dedicated body established in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and NCTE to ensure a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all students. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and is considered a punishable offense under law.

Our Commitment:

Bharath College of Education is firmly committed to a zero-tolerance policy against ragging. The college ensures that every student feels secure, respected, and free from fear or harassment.

Objectives:

  • To prevent and eliminate ragging in all its forms, both on and off campus.
  • To create awareness among students about the harmful effects and legal consequences of ragging.
  • To provide a safe and confidential mechanism for reporting incidents of ragging.
  • To promote a culture of mutual respect, discipline, and inclusivity.
  • To take swift and strict action in accordance with UGC regulations and college policies.

Anti-Ragging Measures:

  • Display of anti-ragging posters and helpline numbers across the campus.
  • Mandatory anti-ragging affidavit signed by all students and parents at the time of admission.
  • Regular orientation programs and sensitization workshops.
  • Monitoring during academic sessions, hostel visits, and student interactions.
  • Quick response and grievance redressal through the Anti-Ragging Cell.
