Bharath Educational Trust
In commemoration of Thiru.T.Rengasamy and Thirumathi Jagathambal Rengasamy, as well as the Veteran Social Worker of Thiruvarur District, Sithamalli Thiru. N. Somasundaram, Ex. M.L.A. In line with their wishes, we established the Bharath Educational Trust and started the Bharath Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology & Industrial School in the year 2002. Following his advice and guidelines, we at Bharath Educational Trust provide job-oriented professional education to underprivileged students.
The Managing Trustee of Bharath Educational Trust has been working for the past twenty-three years to uplift the students in their careers. Bharath College of Education is another milestone in the field of Teacher Education, with a noble ambition to promote and propagate students’ education and with a sense of concern and commitment to the society at large. Bharath College of Education started the B.Ed. course in the year 2007, and the M.Ed. Course in the year 2017. Another milestone of the Bharath Educational Trust in the Healthcare professional education is the B.Sc. Nursing Course under the Name of Bharath College of Nursing, which began in the year 2023. And established a Research Centre in the field of Teacher Education with a Ph.D. in Education in the year 2025 by the philanthropic-minded trustees of Bharath Educational Trust, Thiruvarur.
The college is situated at Ammaiyappan Village, Thiruvarur Distrist. The college has adequate buildings, furniture and other infrastructural facilities as per the norms of the Affiliating University and the Recognition bodies of the State and Central Governments. The college is set up with the intention that selfless service would bring forth eminent students to the forefront and strive for the progress of our nation in all fields. The doors of this college are open to all, irrespective of their caste, colour, or creed.
The Bharath Educational Trust is a premier centre for higher learning in Thiruvarur, South India. It is registered by the Government of Tamil Nadu under the Indian Trust Act. Thiru R. Kalaikathiravan is the founder and Managing Trustee of the Trust. Dr. Vijayalakshmi Kalaikathiravan is the trustee of the trust.
